By using ChannelGrade ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
ChannelGrade provides AI-powered YouTube creator tools and channel analytics. The Service uses AI to grade titles, thumbnails, SEO, hooks, descriptions, and other aspects of YouTube content to help creators improve their performance.
2. Accounts and Free Tier
- Many ChannelGrade tools are available without an account (5 free uses per tool per day)
- Creating an account gives you a usage dashboard and saved analysis history
- You must provide accurate information when registering via Google OAuth
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Users must be at least 16 years old
3. Acceptable Use
When using ChannelGrade's creator tools, you agree NOT to:
- Analyze videos or channels you do not own or have permission to analyze
- Violate YouTube's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Circumvent the free-tier usage limits (e.g., via multiple accounts or automated requests)
- Attempt to access other users' analysis data or account information
- Use ChannelGrade output to harass, defame, or mislead other creators
4. Your Content
- You retain ownership of your content and analysis results
- You grant us a license to process your content to provide the Service
- You are responsible for the content you process through our Service
- We may remove content that violates these terms
Note: Video metadata and transcripts are sent to Google (Gemini AI) for analysis. By using the Service, you consent to this processing. Do not analyze videos containing sensitive personal information unless you are authorized to do so.
5. AI Grades and Suggestions
Disclaimer: ChannelGrade's AI-generated grades, scores, and suggestions are advisory only. They may contain errors or inaccuracies. A high grade does not guarantee video performance, and a low grade does not mean a video will fail. Always use your own judgment as a creator.
- AI grades, scores, and optimization suggestions are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy
- We are not responsible for changes you make to your content based on AI suggestions
- Grading criteria are based on general YouTube best practices, not guarantees of algorithm performance
6. Subscriptions and Pricing
- Free-tier users get 5 uses per tool per day at no cost
- Paid plans unlock unlimited tool access and additional features
- Current pricing is shown on our pricing page and may be adjusted with 30 days notice
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically; you may cancel at any time from your dashboard
- 14-day money-back guarantee: if ChannelGrade is not a fit, email support within 14 days of your first charge and we will refund you
7. Uptime and Availability
- We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- Tool availability depends on third-party APIs (YouTube Data API, Google Gemini) which may experience outages
- We may add, modify, or retire individual tools as ChannelGrade evolves
- Planned maintenance windows will be communicated via email when possible
8. Intellectual Property
- ChannelGrade's tools, interface, branding, and underlying code are our intellectual property
- You may not copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service
- Analysis results you generate are yours to use, but the tool interfaces and grading systems are ours
- We respect the intellectual property of creators and expect users to do the same
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- ChannelGrade is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties
- We are not liable for lost revenue, views, subscribers, or any indirect/consequential damages arising from use of the Service
- Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you have paid to ChannelGrade in the preceding 12 months
10. Account Termination
- You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via your settings page
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, abuse free-tier limits, or engage in fraudulent activity
- On deletion, all your analysis history and personal data is permanently removed within 30 days
11. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these terms as ChannelGrade grows. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of ChannelGrade after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from your use of ChannelGrade shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
